Description
Training and development is based on the premise that people are the most valuable resources of the organization. Therefore, the responsibility of the human resources department of any organization is to develop and administer policies, practices, and procedures to provide for the effective training and professional development of all employees. This will subsequently enhance organizations achieving their goals and objectives. The major topics to be covered in this course include the history of training, the training function, needs analysis, transfer of training and development, and program design and training methods.
