Occupational Health Nursing (Certificate)

Description

Occupational Health Nurses play an important role in providing health and safety services in workplaces, both for employers and employees. Through this Certificate program, you will study ergonomics and disability management, health and safety management, health and safety legislation and more, preparing you for practice as an Occupational Health Nurse.

Led by instructors who are experienced industry professionals, this program will assist with meeting the application qualifications for the Canadian Nurses Association specialty certification examination (COHN-C) or enhance the knowledge and skills of experienced Occupational Health Nurses.
 
 
Admission Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • You must maintain an overall average of 60% or a GPA of 2.0 in order to graduate
  • A minimum of 25% of courses must be completed through Durham College
