Cannabis Industry Studies
Description
The Cannabis Industry Studies program is intended for students who wish to enter the developing cannabis industry and is designed to respond to emergent industry demand for cannabis-related knowledge across a number of sectors, including health and wellness, agriculture, food, human resources, retail and consumption devices.
This program provides courses in cannabis, health and wellness, the Canadian legal and regulation system, customer experience and retail sales. Through this program, graduates will gain foundational knowledge that will be an advantage for employment in the dynamic and growing industry.
Upon successful completion, graduates will have the knowledge and skills to be employed in areas within the cannabis industry related to sales, retail, customer service, human resources, health sciences, clinics, distribution and supply chain management.
Entry Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with:
Grade 12 English: ENG4(C) or ENG4(U)
OR
Mature Student Status (age 19 or older) with the above prerequisite course, or the equivalent.
