This highly interactive course covers topics such as the need to plan the acquisition of human resources based on anticipated corporate productivity needs, the provisions and impact of human rights, pay equity, employment equity and freedom of information, measures, and different recruitment and selection techniques, their strengths, and weaknesses. To provide students with the understanding of and skills required to implement a successful recruitment program including compliance with government legislation, scientific approaches to recruitment, and methods of maximizing return on recruitment investment.
