Principles of Learning
Description
This course serves as an introduction to the variety of ways that human learning is thought about within educational contexts. Students will examine theory and research about learning through the lenses of education, psychology, and neuroscience. The course will explore research, theory and key concepts of how people learn. Students will connect the theoretical approaches to their own learning and relate concepts to more practical applications. Students will engage in critical reflection on their own knowledge and approaches to developing sound environments for learning. This course is required for all MEd and MA students.
