Labour Relations
Description
This course is designed to provide students with a detailed study and involvement with the management of Human Resources within a Union environment. The participants will study in detail: the background and structure of unions in Canada, the unionization process, contract administration, the legislative framework for collective bargaining, strikes and lockouts and will have an introduction to conflict resolution processes.
