IoT Security

This course will discuss how the Internet of Things (IoT) is a pervasive technology that impacts almost every area of our daily lives. The benefits it provides must be carefully weighed against the risks associated with its deployment. This course examines the IoT ecosystem and the techniques used to help mitigate the risks that it presents. Students will explore the ethical, social, legal, regulatory and economic requirements of the IoT. In the lab portion of this course, students will gain experience with the various devices and techniques used to enhance IoT security.
