IoT Electronic Circuits and Devices
Description
This is a practical course that will explore various Internet of Things (IoT) devices and sensor types, how they work, and how they can be connected to create efficiencies or solve business problems. Students will learn about "smart devices" that get connected in the Internet of Things to discover and interact with the real-world environment. Students will explore the physical interface, intermediary enabling technologies, and communication challenges. Students will also develop an understanding of basic electronic design as applied to IoT smart devices. In the lab portion of this course, students will have the opportunity to work together in teams to design and construct electronic circuits in support of IoT solutions.
