Introduction to Numeracy Strategies
Description
Classroom assistant candidates explore and acquire numeracy strategies for Indigenous elementary school-aged children to assist in the delivery of a balanced numeracy program. Topics include: acquiring and strengthening fundamental concepts in elementary mathematics, applying problem solving and reasoning strategies, and examining numeracy teaching strategies.
