Industrial Relations
Description
This course is designed to help the student learn the basic principles and technical skills required in Industrial Relations to work successfully within the union-management relationship. Areas of study will include the management-union relationship: analysis of legal and institutional frameworks within which unions operate, union policies and practices, management policies on labour, legislation, the trend of labour relations, collective bargaining, the arbitration process and contract language.
