Description
This course will provide an understanding of the process, issues and techniques involved in developing and administering a compensation system. The objective of this course is to provide an understanding of the process, issues and techniques involved in developing and administering a total compensation system for organizations. Goals of a total compensation system are to attract, retain, motivate, minimize compensation cost and comply with legislation. Total compensation refers to all forms of financial returns and tangible services and befits employees receive as part of an employment relationship. Internal, external and employee equity are core to building an effective total compensation system.
