Understanding religion and culture is essential not just for being a global citizen in an age of interconnections, but also for being a well-informed citizen of Canada. You will learn essential, transferable skills to prepare you for a variety of professional careers: critical thinking, effective writing, competent oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and the conduct of advanced research (e.g., collecting data, assessing the state of knowledge, analyzing and evaluating diverse claims). RELIGION AND CULTURE AT LAURIER If issues in Religion and Culture excite you, this program offers courses that provide an excellent basis for engaging debates.
