ABOUT THE CERTIFICATE
Now that you have learned the basics of accounting, economics and Canadian business law and have a solid understanding of statistics, business strategy and taxation, you're ready to study accounting in a more in-depth way and see how it applies to more complex real-life situations. While completing this certificate, you'll gain a comprehensive knowledge of financial and management accounting principles. You'll also study the impact financial management has on business-strategy development. You'll learn how external auditors perform audits on the financial statements of an organization, and how legal and ethical requirements apply to practical audit situations.
This certificate is your last step towards meeting the prerequisite requirements for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
