The Master of Earth and Energy Resources Leadership is training future leaders in the natural resource industry. Through part-time delivery and interdisciplinary courses accessed primarily online, you can continue working from anywhere in the world and join us in Canada for the in-person sessions.​

Our job at MEERL is to give you the skills and confidence you need to take your career in new directions. We cover topics such as natural resource management and sustainable energy engineering from a leadership perspective, giving you the knowledge and training needed to take you to the next level. You'll learn the skills and aptitudes needed to tackle the most challenging technical, economic, political, ethical, social, and environmental questions regarding the future of the earth and its resources.

Program Schedule
The MEERL program allows our students to combine full-time professional responsibilities from anywhere in the world with part-time graduate studies. In this 20-month part-time program, you will take 10 courses and participate in two immersive residential sessions held in Kingston, ON and Calgary, AB.​

Core Courses
In MEERL, students explore the resource life cycle through an interdisciplinary approach. You will learn the progression of the resource life cycle, with its fundamental earth science and engineering aspects, as the center of this program. You will explore the resource lifecycle in 7 core courses and through four different perspectives.​
