Japanese Language Skills

Description

Learn to listen, speak, read and write fluently in Japanese! Our comprehensive Japanese certificate program examines various aspects of verbal and written communication - including an understanding of Hiragana and Katakana, vocabulary, sound patterns, and sentence structures, - thus building proficiency and refining conversational skills in Japanese. Students will explore Japanese culture and social conventions and participate in interactive, practical lessons designed to advance their personal and professional development.
Note: Upon successful completion of the certificate requirements, students will be eligible for a Seneca College Certificate in Japanese Language Skills. Students may not use Japanese as a course credit towards a diploma or certificate if Japanese is her/his first language.
