Description
Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and the skills required to become a successful practitioner of Human Resources Management in the areas of recruitment, training, performance management, compensation, health and safety, and labour relations.
Human Resources National Certification Process
The nine courses required in this program are those approved by the Human Resources Professional Association (opens in new window) to obtain the Certified Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP). Please be aware each course expires 10 years after completion.
To receive the CHRP designation you must:
Be a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario
Complete the nine required courses (minimum average of 70% with no course grade below 65%)
Pass the Comprehensive Knowledge Exam 1 (CKE1).
Pass the CHRP Employment Law Exam
Complete the HRPA Job Ready Program

Continuing Education students usually complete this program in sixteen to thirty-six months.
Courses in this program cost approximately $500 each. Textbooks are extra.
All courses are offered online each term with multiple intakes and accelerated course deliveries to provide flexibility.
