Managing the occupational health and safety function in the workplace requires an understanding of a broad range of areas, including legislation, workplace hazards, and occupational illnesses, evaluation and control techniques, and managing and promoting workplace safety and wellness.  Occupational health and safety must be placed within the organization's context; understanding how organizations are structured and behave is an essential component of occupational health and safety, as is an understanding of business skills and the ability to apply strong analytical and communication skills.

The Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management prepares you for a career in occupational health & safety management.  

 

Acquire the understanding of legislation, workplace hazards, and occupational illnesses you need to manage the workplace's occupational health and safety function. Understand how organizations are structured to understand better the role of occupational health and safety within those frameworks.
