Description
In the Career Development Practitioner Foundations program, learners will expand their knowledge of career transition, counselling and change management theories and explore ethical standards and considerations in career development.
They will examine the evolving nature of the labour market and enhance their ability to assess employment trends as well as the work and skill requirements for a wide range of jobs. Learners will be exposed to a range of assessment, interviewing and counselling strategies to support clients in career planning and career transitions.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 English (C or U) OR
- Grade 12 equivalency certificate achieved through College academic upgrading OR
- Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) with Grade 12 English (C or U)
