Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RPN to BScN) (Distance)

Description

NOTE: All theory courses available online. However, note that there is a work placement component in this program. Blended Delivery Distance Education, Part-time, 5-year

The School of Nursing has formed a number of partnerships with Ontario health care agencies that allow current RPNs the opportunity to study part-time towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. This program is offered through distance education and takes five years to complete.

Theory based courses are offered through online delivery, while practicum based courses are offered either within the health care agency that the student is employed by or one of our other partner agencies.

What is Blended Learning? "Blended" learning means courses are both online and face-to-face. This kind of flexible learning allows greater choice for learners. Advantages of the Program:

  • continue working while pursuing your BScN.
  • Nipissing University arranges placements in coordination with your employer and other partner agencies.
  • Online courses allow flexibility in balancing work and life.
  • Achieving your BScN degree will provide an opportunity for advancement in your career.
