Youth in Conflict With the Law
Description
This course enables the student to explain and analyze the philosophical, contemporary and historical perspective of young people in conflict with the law in Canada. The Youth Criminal Justice Act, Child and Family Services Act and other relevant legislation is examined from the perspective of both the young person and the involved agencies. TEXTBOOK REQUIRED. 45 hours.
