Working with Diverse Clients

Description

Working effectively with people with mental health and addictions challenges requires an ability to engage clients recognizing their unique and diverse ethnic, religious and cultural characteristics. In this course, students learn and practice the skills required to work collaboratively with a wide range of populations, including indigenous and racialized communities, women, youth, older adults, people with disabilities, gender fluid and non-binary persons, and people with severe persistent mental disorders, including addictions.
