Work-Integrated Learning
Description
Work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities not only provide employers opportunities to meet and work with diversely talented and highly motivated future potential employees, but these experiences also provide students with opportunities to develop skills, explore career opportunities and network with industry professionals and potential employers. The paid WIL provides students with experiential opportunities within the related industries. Students immerse themselves in a variety of activities allowing them to apply principles and concepts developed thus far in the degree program. Students returning from the WIL bring additional practical considerations back into the program. Although centred with public and private organizations located in Ontario, WIL employment opportunities may be sought throughout Canada and abroad.
