Wind Energy
Description
Wind energy has been used for centuries for pumping, irrigation, milling and generation of electricity. Managed properly, this renewable energy could do so much more. In this course, you’ll learn how multiple options can help us move towards low- and eventually zero-carbon energy systems. An interdisciplinary approach will guide you through key factors of the wind energy sector: historical, political, economic, and technical. You’ll emerge with a solid grasp of the principles of wind-derived electricity and its environmental impacts.
