Description
Organizations are quickly realizing that people are their most important resource. With this in mind, developing and investing in training and development offers a significant return on investment for the company. Employees become more engaged and they are essentially more productive. Beginning with a perspective of how training and development fit within the broader context of human resources management, students address key elements, including staff training and learning needs; design and delivery of effective training programs; alternatives and supplements to training; and the effectiveness of staff training and development interventions.
