The Art of Effective Copy Editing
Description
Polishing your own work and that of others is a practical skill useful for anyone who deals with professional writing in the publishing industry. In this course, created and taught by Industry Experts, you'll develop copy editing skills to identify common style problems and grammatical errors and learn how to fix them in both print and digital formats. You'll also create your own individualized editorial workflow based on industry publishing standards that will help you methodically correct mistakes in your own writing and that of others. At the end of the course, you will have a transferable set of editing and business skills in your freelancer's toolkit to succeed in a competitive gig economy.
