The Accountable Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention Worker
Description
Students will discuss counsellor behaviours and attitudes which promote recovery in the client. Included is an awareness of the legal aspects of clients' rights, allowing the student to wrestle with difficult questions regarding professional relationships. The course will also examine the role of self-care in accountable Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention Practice.
