Supportive Care Assistant Placement
Description
Students will apply the theory knowledge learned to gain practical experience in supporting long-term and home care staff and their clients. Under th Supportive Care Assistant role, you will assist certified personal care providers and be part of the health care team whereas performing non-clinical activities such as assisting with meals delivery and feeding, cleaning and disinfecting, stocking materials, providing companionship while being comforting, supportive and participating in activities with clients.
