Skills Lab Prep RPN Refresher
Description
In this course, theory and lab practice are combined. In a simulated environment the Registered Practical Nurse has the opportunity to refresh the clinical and problem-solving skills required to be a competent member of the interprofessional health team. Students work collaboratively to assess, plan, meet, evaluate and document clients' health care needs and health outcomes using a theory-based approach. Relevant evidence and College of Nurses of Ontario Practice Standards and Guidelines related to practice are also reviewed. A student must attain a minimum of 60% or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in this course.
