Service Learning for BIEN & Refresher Nursing Students

This service-learning course will provide an opportunity for the Bridging for Internationally Educated Nurses (BIEN) and Refresher Nursing students to experience and interact with various health care professionals and clients within a Canadian community context. Through interactions with various clients/communities and service professionals, the BIEN/Refresher student will have the opportunity to experience community health care, while linking these lived experiences to the Social Determinants of Health, within a Canadian context.
