Science Chemistry I
Description
In this course, students will study basic measurements and units, classification of matter, introductory atomic theory and the periodic table, forces between particles including bonding, molecule shape, and polarity. Students will write chemical formulas and equations relating to chemical reactions, including oxidation and reduction reactions, and be able to do calculations utilizing stoichiometric relationships. Classroom theory will be supported by virtual laboratory work.
