Project Monitoring for Quality Control and Safety

Description

The students' will develop an understanding of the theory and practical methods required for a construction manager to monitor the quality of materials and workmanship of construction trades in relation to industry standards and project owners expectations. Additional topics covered will include the following:
  • Compliance of the construction work with the contract documents.
  • Construction manager's and their employees' functions and responsibilities related to construction work quality and workplace safety.
  • Management of necessary remedial work;
  • Management of changes to the work in the contract.
  • Documenting and reporting of quality control and safety.
