Project Management-Project Capstone
Description
This course provides experiential learning to students in the Project Management Program. Students will be able to integrate all aspects of the program courses which include theory, practical skills, business skills, leadership skills, and communication skills, and apply them in a work environment to create project management artifacts on a real project for a local organization. Working in small teams and supervised by faculty member(s), students will work collaboratively between themselves, local organizations, and faculty member(s). As a result, students will learn to explore and apply program course knowledge and artifacts in a work environment. This collaboration will facilitate students’ personal, academic, and professional growth. The students’ work will be formally assessed by the local organization, faculty members, and informally by their classmates.
