Running a freelance business can be a challenging and ever-evolving task. You will explore how freelance writers can set up the basics necessary to launch and maintain their business. This includes identifying common small business issues, evaluating their skillsets according to industry examples and certifications, creating business plans and establishing rates and budgets. You will examine existing media outlets from a financial perspective and consider expenses and other factors in freelance work.
