Payroll Fundamentals 1
Description
Our Payroll Fundamentals 1 course teaches you how to apply payroll legislation and calculate all components of individual pay (from remuneration, through deductions, to net pay) for both regular and irregular situations. Get the knowledge and skills you need to effectively communicate all aspects of the individual pay calculation process to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, learn to accurately complete records of employment.
This course is equivalent to the Payroll Fundamentals 1 course offered by the National Payroll Institute (hereafter referred as "the Institute") – formerly the Canadian Payroll Association – as part of the Institute's Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our FIN 9015 Payroll Compliance Legislation (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
