Nursing Research
Description
An introduction to the research process in nursing. The focus of the course is on enabling the student to appraise and utilize research findings as the basis for evidenced-based nursing practice. (Prerequisites: 63-278, and 02-250 or 65-205.) (Corequisites: Registration in all year 3 fall semester nursing courses.) (3 lecture hours a week.) Section Offered as Partial Distance Education "This course section will be offered as an "on-demand" hybrid model. Students will either attend weekly classes in person on campus or live online via Blackboard Collaborate, as per the class schedule. Each week, the instructor will lecture simultaneously in class and through Collaborate to students who are off-campus. The off-campus (online) students will be able to participate in the live classes and ask questions through the Collaborate interface. There will be two classes with group learning activities that will require in person attendance on campus by all students and will not be online. These dates for these two classes will be given by the instructor at the start of the term. Also, all mid-term and final exams must be written in person at UWindsor campus."
