Nursery Production


Explore the production techniques required to grow health nursery stock and the different types of equipment used for both container and field production.Throughout the course, you will have multiple opportunities to participate in activities that apply the concepts of nursery production—including container and site selection, growing mediums, cultural practices, climate and wintering, plant species, and preparing your product for distribution and sale.


This course is intended for adult learners who are at least 18 years of age. There are no prerequisites for this course You can expect to spend 8 to 12 hours per week to complete the course content, readings, activities, discussions and assignments.Nursery Production and Plant Propagation complete an area of focus in Nursery Production.Do not enrol in this course if you have successfully completed Nursery Production (310-0007).
