Nephrology Nursing - Renal Disorders and Kidney Disease Management
Description
This introductory course begins to prepare nurses to meet the standards and practice guidelines of Nephrology nursing in Canada. In a collaborative learning environment, students will be challenged to call up and assess the knowledge they already have related to renal anatomy and physiology, acute kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, and kidney disease management. Utilizing active and cooperative learning strategies for acquiring and apply knowledge, students will monitor personal thinking, demonstrate curiosity, and engage in discovery to attain success with all course objectives.
