Mineral Processing II
Description
Students will as a helper in the operation of a 300 TPD precious mill in Cobalt belong to SMC (Canada) Ltd. and on-site in the mill at the Haileybury School of Mines. Students will become familiar with all components of a crushing plant, mill, and tailings disposal system.
The Mining Engineering Technician program requires two Field School components to be completed on-site in Haileybury. The Field Schools are typically two weeks in length and take place in May.

Field School I includes MI4013 Surveying IV, MI4043 Mineral Processing II, and MI4093 Mineralogy and Geology VI.
