Microbiology for MLA

Description

At lab assistant level, basic procedures used in the microbiology lab such as specimen collection and handling, plating, media preparation and routine staining will be reviewed. Preparation of stains and reagents will be studied as well as pertinent clerical duties.    
 
Prerequisites: Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLSC10012) AND Basic Laboratory Techniques for MLA (MLSC10013)
