Mental Health and Wellness 3
Description
This course is a continuation of CYCP 113 & CYCP 116 and is designed to examine specific mental health disorders of childhood, adolescence and young adulthood as part of a continuum of development. The student will explore the descriptions of behaviours, etiology and treatment planning with a focus on evidence-based practice. An exploration of societal perspectives of abnormal behaviour and the ethical use of mental health terms and labels will be a theme throughout the course.
