Medical Etymology

Description

Upon completion of ETY1O1, students will be able to recognize all of the essential Greek and Latin roots, prefixes and suffixes in the most familiar and important medical terms. Moreover, with a firm grounding in the classical sources, students will be able to analyze the components of unfamiliar terms and thus make informed inferences about meaning. In addition, an introduction to study skills is presented.
