Medical Devices

This course introduces the complex field of medical devices including definition of a medical device and risk-based classification of medical devices in Canada. Existing Health Canada regulations regarding the medical device's regulatory approval process are examined. Regulatory approval processes for medical devices in the US and Europe and also explored.
