Mathematics IV

This is an introductory course in statistics with applications to mining and geology. Topics include the construction of frequency distribution, the tendency of variation measures, descriptive statistics, probability rules and distributions, sampling and estimation, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression and correlation analyses, non-parametric tests and basic geostatistics.
