Mathematics for Construction

This course is designed to provide a solid mathematical background for students studying in the Building Construction Technician program at Humber. Topics include fractions, decimals, unit conversions, calculation of perimeter, area, and volume of the most common geometrical figures and conversions for mass mensuration. Applications of the Pythagorean Theorem for roofs and stairs will be addressed.
