Marketing Strategy for Events
Description
Effective marketing is crucial to the success of any event and this course aims to provide event planning students with an understanding of the basic concepts and processes of marketing. Students will learn how to identify their target market for an event, conduct research, examine and apply elements of the marketing mix and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of digital and social media channels to drive event sales and profit.
