Lighting Controls & Energy Management
Description
This course studies the relationship that has existed between the building control systems and the various lighting types and techniques that implement them. Using case studies and assignments, students will learn and evaluate the varying systems and protocols to get a better understanding of the relationship between the lighting design process and control specifications. As the industry evolves, luminaires and control system will play an even bigger role in how we utilize and regulate the architectural space.
