Level II: The Essentials of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy with Children and Youth

Have you ever wondered if CBT is effective in treating child and adolescent mental health and other presenting issues? Have you assumed that CBT cannot effectively be used in treating children? Or have you been convinced of the effectiveness of CBT can have with your child and adolescent clients but are unsure of how to best deliver it?
If you are answering yes to any of these questions then this course is for you! In this course students will learn strategies to unlock the power of the CBT model for the often more challenging and cognitively diverse clients ranging in ages from two to 17.
Specifically students will learn to tailor and apply the CBT techniques and interventions acquired in Level I to a subset of mental health and sub-clinical issues across various stages of development in children and youth.
