Leadership in Sport & Event Marketing

In this course, students examine the skills required to be effective sport leaders. Students explore a variety of topics and develop concrete leadership skills. Topics include personal leadership skills, conflict management, crisis management, learning the role and function of mentoring others, supervisory task such as planning, organizing and supervision of groups, and working with a not for-profit governance model.
