Description

This course is designed to enable the early childhood educator to apply his/her childhood development knowledge in order to create a child-centered approach to language arts curriculum using the concepts of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Various forms of literature will be explored and students will learn developmentally appropriate practices pertaining to the enhancement of language development. Students will understand how to integrate language arts curriculum across all areas of learning within the classroom.
