Introduction to Organizational Behaviour
Description
This course introduces concepts and theories that explain individual, group, and organizational behaviour in organizations. Topics include personality, perceptions, motivation, communication, emotional labour, stress, power, conflict, leadership, team dynamics, team development, organizational culture, organizational structure and organizational change management. Prerequisite: MGMT 1001. (sem 3) Students may not retain credit for COMM 2046, COMM 2045 and HROB 2001. This is an approved course for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. (3 cr)
